The registration system will automatically present the divisions that are available based on your child's age. Please note that payment must be made in full at the completion of registration or the registration will not be processed nor will we have a record that a registration was attempted. Fall 2022 - 7 year olds & Younger Division

 

NOTE: THERE IS NO WORK BOND OR LOTTERY FOR THE FALL SEASON!!

 

The Fall season will play games on Sunday and have practice(s) during the week.  

Practices times/dates are determined by field availability.

 


REFUND POLICY
By registering your child, you agree to the MBA's refund policy. Due to the impact on team balance the MBA prefers that you do not register your child unless you are 100% sure he or she will play.  The MBA will charge an administrative fee in the amount of $25 for players that withdraw prior to the initial late fee date.  After the initial late fee date, a withdrawal fee will be charged equivalent to 50% of your registration fee as follows: The MBA will refund 50% of your division registration fee (Spring & Fall), 100% of your work bond and raffle (Spring season only) if you withdraw your child after he or she is registered up to the first game of the season. Once the season begins, no refunds will be provided, except for authorized medical conditions. Thirty days after the start of the season, no refunds will be provided for any reason.

Games - There will be one (1) game per week scheduled on Sunday during the Fall season.  Games will be scheduled to begin at 8am and run throughout the day.  The Sunday schedule may change each week.  Please be mindful that weather conditions may cause a game to be rescheduled to another week or weekend or week day and that field availability determines our abilities to schedule and reschedule games.  

Practices - There will be one (1) practice, to be determined by your team manager, per week and this practice will be scheduled between Monday through Friday based on field availability.  

Equipment - Participants in this division will need the following equipment:  batting helmet, USA approved bat, glove, protective sports cup, cleats (rubber only) and it is strongly suggested that all players wear a heart guard.    

Coaching/Managing - Are you interested in managing or coaching a team?  The Manalapan Township Parks and Recreation Department requires all volunteers to possess a Manalapan Township Volunteer ID Card.  To obtain a card or to renew your card, kindly go to the Parks and Recreation website for complete details.  Please note that the MBA does not have control over this application process.  Additional details can be found here: https://mtnj.org/departments/parks_recreation/coaches_volunteers/


The Manalapan Recreation Department imposes a fee for the use of their fields in the amount of $2.50 per child registered and this is included in your registration fee.  In addition, the Manalapan Township Board of Education imposes a $500 fee per field, per season, on organizations utilizing their ball fields.  This has resulted in an increase in our registration fees.

 

MBA supports the notion that all children should have the opportunity to play baseball.
